These terms apply to all users, customers, visitors, and anyone who accesses our website or engages with our services.

Western Sydney Lift Kits is:

  • An authorized Tough Dog Suspension dealer
  • A supplier of genuine Tough Dog suspension parts and products
  • A booking service that connects customers with independent authorized installation workshops

We provide:

  • Detailed quotes for Tough Dog suspension products tailored to your vehicle
  • Supply of genuine Tough Dog parts directly from the manufacturer
  • Arrangements for professional installation through our partner workshops
  • Customer support and product information

Important: We do NOT:

  • Perform installations ourselves (we arrange installations through independent workshops)
  • Operate or manage the workshops (they are independent businesses)
  • Provide mechanical services or vehicle repairs

3. Quotes and Pricing

All Quotes Are Estimates:

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST
  • Final pricing may vary based on physical vehicle inspection
  • We reserve the right to adjust quotes if vehicle details provided are incorrect or incomplete
  • Prices are subject to change based on manufacturer price adjustments

What's Included in Your Quote:

  • Genuine Tough Dog suspension parts specified in the quote
  • Installation labor costs (at partner workshop rates)
  • GST (Goods and Services Tax)

What's NOT Included:

  • Additional parts that may be discovered during installation (e.g., worn bushings, damaged components)
  • Engineering certificates or certifications (if required by your state)
  • Wheel alignment (recommended after suspension installation)
  • Any modifications or customizations beyond standard installation
  • Removal or modification of aftermarket accessories that interfere with installation

4. Ordering and Payment

How to Order:

  1. Submit a quote request via our website or contact us directly
  2. Receive a detailed quote via email within 1-2 business days
  3. Review and accept the quote
  4. Pay the required deposit or full amount
  5. We order the parts from Tough Dog and arrange your workshop booking
  6. Attend your scheduled installation appointment

Payment Terms:

  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express
  • Payment must be received before parts are ordered from the manufacturer
  • A deposit may be required for large orders (typically 50%)
  • Balance payment is due before or on the day of installation

Security:

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your payment information. Credit card details are processed and stored by Stripe, not by us. We never see or store your full credit card information.

5. Installation

Workshop Arrangements:

  • We arrange installation bookings with authorized partner workshops in your area
  • Workshops are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Western Sydney Lift Kits
  • Installation quality and workmanship are the responsibility of the workshop
  • Installation timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed
  • Workshops may identify additional work required during installation

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and complete vehicle information when requesting a quote
  • Attend your scheduled installation appointment on time
  • Inform us of any existing vehicle modifications or damage
  • Pay for any additional work or parts required during installation
  • Ensure your vehicle is clean and accessible for installation

Installation Delays:

We are not responsible for delays caused by parts availability, workshop scheduling, unforeseen mechanical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any significant delays.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Before Parts Are Ordered (Full Refund):

  • You may cancel your order anytime before we order parts from Tough Dog
  • Full refund of all payments made
  • Refund processed within 5-7 business days

After Parts Are Ordered (Partial Refund):

  • Parts are custom-ordered specifically for your vehicle and cannot be returned to the manufacturer
  • Cancellation fee: 20% of total order value (to cover ordering costs and restocking)
  • Refund of 80% of your payment within 7-14 business days
  • In some cases, we may be able to re-sell the parts to another customer (assessed case-by-case)

After Installation Is Completed (No Refund):

  • Once parts have been fitted to your vehicle, no refunds are available for change of mind
  • Product warranty claims apply (see Warranties section)
  • Installation workmanship issues should be directed to the workshop

How to Cancel:

Contact us immediately by email at info@westernsydneyliftkits.com.au. Provide your order number and reason for cancellation.

7. Warranties

Tough Dog Manufacturer Warranty:

  • Recreational use: Most Tough Dog parts carry a 4 year/unlimited km warranty (varies by product type — some products carry 3 years, see individual product pages)
  • Commercial use: Most Tough Dog parts carry a 3 year/unlimited km warranty (varies by product type)
  • Warranty terms are set by Tough Dog Australia
  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or abuse
  • Warranty claims must be made through Tough Dog's official warranty process

Installation Warranty:

  • Installation workmanship warranty is provided by the workshop (typically 12 months)
  • Contact the workshop directly for installation warranty claims
  • We can assist in coordinating warranty claims with workshops

What's NOT Covered by Warranty:

  • Damage from accidents, collisions, or impacts
  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect of the product
  • Modifications or alterations not approved by the manufacturer
  • Normal wear and tear from regular use
  • Cosmetic issues such as scratches, chips, or marks that don't affect performance
  • Use in racing, competitive events, or extreme off-roading beyond product specifications

Our Responsibility:

We supply genuine Tough Dog parts and arrange installation with qualified workshops. We do NOT warranty the installation work itself, as that is the responsibility of the independent workshop that performs the installation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law:

We Are Not Liable For:

  • Installation errors, poor workmanship, or damage caused by workshops (these are independent businesses)
  • Delays in parts delivery from the manufacturer or installation scheduling
  • Vehicle damage that occurs during installation (workshop liability insurance applies)
  • Consequential or indirect damages such as lost income, vehicle downtime, rental car costs, or lost opportunities
  • Parts failing due to misuse, abuse, modifications, or use beyond their specifications
  • Damage caused by incorrect vehicle information provided by you

Maximum Liability:

Our maximum liability to you for any claim related to our services or products is limited to the amount you paid for the parts in question. This limitation does not include labor costs, lost time, consequential losses, or any indirect damages.

9. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your Statutory Guarantees:

Under Australian Consumer Law, you have statutory guarantees that goods are:

  • Of acceptable quality
  • Fit for the disclosed purpose
  • Match the description provided
  • Free from defects

If We Breach These Guarantees:

You may be entitled to:

  • Repair or replacement of the product
  • Refund (for major failures)
  • Compensation for reasonably foreseeable losses or damage
